Ryans idea that there is "right to rise" is 100% correct.
Problem is, he is 180 degrees off on what it means.
I right is something that everyone can claim. Ryan Bush is applying it to only the most wealthy.
Rather than let them steal this concept, lets school them on what Right to Rise really means, because it is a fundamental concept for progressives.
I have some ideas that will help guaranty the Right to Rise . They are nothing like the Ryan Bush ideas.
Some components of a Right to Rise
1 Universal, low cost health care. The burden of caring for the sick should not fall disproportionately on the victims.
2 Health care should not be a profit center. It holds down everyone by siphoning off huge portions of the GDP.
3 A safe home life. No children should be raised in abusive situations. A child who is frightened and abused rarely rises.
4 Good nutrition. An undernourished child cannot rise.
5 A safe place to sleep and study. A sleepy child cannot rise.
6 A good low cost education should be available to everyone, in every neighborhood. Education is the beginning of a financially successful life for most people.
7 A safe work environment and a living wage. A person who works 60 hours a week to afford a place to live and a car can hardly take time out to go to school or start a business. That persons right to rise has been restricted.
I know there are many more. Please add your own in the comments.
